Friends of injured saddle bronc rider Chet Johnson are happy to report that the he could be headed home as early as today.
Johnson was taken to hospital on July 20 in Salt Lake City, Utah after he was bucked off his horse at the Days of '47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City and kicked in the back of the head while trying to get clear.
The Gillette, Wyo. cowboy, who is well known in the rodeo circuit for both his skill and smile, has been rodeoing in Canada for the past six years. He has qualified for the both Canadian Finals Rodeo and the National Finals Rodeo three times and is currently sitting 24th and 34th in the CPRA and PRCA standings respectively. |
