- No riders or running of stock in the arena a maximum of one and a half (1 ½) hours prior to performance or slack start time.
- Immediately following the slack, the arena must be cleared of all animals and contestants.

The Camrose Spring Classic Pro Rodeo will have a grand entry whereby it would be appreciated that contestants with horses participate.
Opening and Closing of CRE Arena. The building will be open Friday 3:00 p.m. till 5:30 p.m. for pre-perf warm-up. Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for pre slack warm up and 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for pre-pref warm up and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for pre-perf warm up. Other than the times listed the building will be locked down and off limits to contestants. No exceptions. Absolutely no riders in the arena (or running of stock) in the arena one and a half (1 1/2 hours) prior to the performance or slack start time. Pre-perf warm ups including pre-slack - absolutely no running of barrels or barrel patterns allowed.
Following each event the days leader will make a victory lap around the arena. If contestant does not have a horse, the committee will supply them with one at that time.
No stalling available on grounds. Stalling is available at Dennis Gordeyko’s. It must be pre-arranged by calling directly to (780) 678-6237 or (780) 672-5236.

Contestant gates are located through the east gate off Exhibition Drive - allowing contestants’ access behind the arena. Entry to the arena is ONLY through designated doors on the WEST END OF THE BUILDING. NO SOUTHSIDE entry/exit doors are to be used. This applies for slack as well.

Performance Order of events will be: Grand Entry/Opening, Wild Pony Race, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down Roping, Jr. Steer Riding, Intermission(Graham Sisters) , Ladies Barrels, Team Roping, Bull Riding
Concession available - will be open Saturday morning if Slack is required.
Dance Saturday evening - 9:30 pm doors open - dance to follow. Band: Trinity Bradshaw - No Minors. Picture ID required - as per AGLC rules. Contestants will be given free entry into the dance by showing their 2014 membership card. Free shuttle bus service (starting at 11:00 p.m.) will be in place from the CRE site to various stops within the City of Camrose. Please do not drink and drive - we encourage you to take advantage of this service.
Any disrespect toward the Rodeo Committee, volunteers, CRE Staff or agents, (by CPRA Members & Families) will NOT be tolerated and you will be removed from the rodeo grounds whether the incident had occurred before/during or after your event - ZERO TOLERANCE Policy is in place and will be strictly enforced by Pro Rodeo Officials.
No smoking anywhere in the CRE facility.
NO DOGS allowed in the arena at any time, nor are they to be running loose on the CRE grounds.
Contestants’ entry door is located on the WEST end of the Building (small overhead door). No entry will be allowed through any other doors.
CPRA/PRCA 2014 membership cards must be shown to security at contestant’s door. If cards are not available - contestants MUST produce PICTURE ID in order to gain access. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any card holders (with the exception of Hall of Fame and CPRA Gold Card Members) wanting a companion ticket MUST enter through contestants door - no companion tickets will be issued at the main doors and you will be turned away and directed to the contestants door. Whether your companion wants a seating ticket or not, they still must be checked in through security at the back door. Companion rule applies regardless of seating ticket or not. As per CPRA rules only 1 companion allowed with contestant at the door and a companion pass must be produced.
Contestants a/o companions requesting a seat ticket will be allocated seating to SECTION H only. All seats are assigned (meaning Section H, Row # ___, Seat # ____.) So in order to sit - you must have a ticket issued to you by security at the contestants door. There are no exceptions to this rule. The only alternative will be to purchase a full price ticket at the main door. Our security/ushers will be checking tickets in order to comply with this rule. Venue Policy: Children who have not celebrated their 2nd birthday will be allowed in free (must sit on an adults lap) - everyone else must have/purchase tickets.
Please be advised - contestants / companions - standing room is limited within the building. You will be asked to move away from certain areas (eg., stairwells, announcer stand, handicapped platform, gates, etc.) or not to block the flow of people. We ask for your cooperation in this regard.
CRE compound, shop, UFA Pavilion and Barn A are off limits to all contestants.
Sports Medicine Team will be on site for the entire rodeo. |
