Ground Rules
1. Entries in 7 major events limited to 60 per event.
2. Maximum contestants in each event will be 12 per performance.
3. Priority given to top CPRA & PRCA money earners as of entry date (top 12), 2016 CFR & NFR qualifiers.
4. Permits will be accepted if required to fill the 60 positions in each event.
5. If more than 60 entries in an event, the permit holders, low money earners, etc. will be drawn out until the 60 contestant limit is met.
6. The barrel racing pattern will be set up so as that the barrel racers enter the arena from the north-end gate.
7. Portable pens set up beside contestant trailers may not be larger than 10x10.
8. Contestants selected to be introduced each day, as a representative of their event will participate either by riding into the arena from the south gate or waving from the chutes.
9. Timed event contestants must stay behind the large gates until they are on deck and must vacate the arena immediately upon the completion of their run.
10. Due to heavy traffic and congestion during the rodeo, contestants are asked to park in the infield area designated for contestant parking.
11. Disrespect towards WLSA volunteers, committee members or paid employees will not be tolerated.
Contestant Information
1. Novice Saddle Bronc entries only for Friday June 30th and Sunday July 2nd.
2. Williams Lake Kids' Rodeo is scheduled in the arena between the performances on Friday, June 30. Contestants - we'd appreciate it if you could help kids rope a bale, ride a stick horse, etc... The kids would really enjoy getting to meet the cowboys and cowgirls! |
