 For the 2008 rodeo season, the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association will once again feature the Canadian Rodeo Tour, which is made up of 11 high-profile rodeos in Canada.
This high-excitement, talent-driven tour offers an added bonus to contestants who compete in it: the top ten point-getters in each of the six major events and team roping at the completion of the Tour will be qualify for the Canadian Rodeo Tour Finale in Calgary.
These ten berths are open to all full CPRA members who qualify, regardless of citizenship.
Points for each location will be distributed as follows:
1-head: 80 points for 1st to 10 points for 8th
Multi-head and aggregrate: 40 points for 1st to 5 points for 8th (for each go-round and aggregate)
As well, two contestants will qualify for the Tour Finale from the remainder of the CPRA rodeos based on the above point system.
