GROUND RULES:
- Points will counts toward the 2010 Canadian Standings
Bull Riding
- Limited to thirty (30) contestants
- Top twenty (20) from the final 2009 C.P.R.A. Standings
- Remaining ten (10) positions from a random draw of the remaining entries.
- Random draw of permit holders if required to fill the thirty (30) positions
- Thirty (30) contestants will compete on one (1) head in the long go
- A maximum of eight (8) contestants will advance to the short go and compete on one (1) head
- All ties will be decided by the back judge for short-go entry
- Reride animals will designated as:
- Seven (7) reride animals for the long go
- Three (3) reride animals for the short go
Payout
- Long Go: 30% of prize money after deductions
- Average: 70% of prize money after deductions
- Short Go: $1,000 split 40, 30, 20, 10
- Go-Round splits: 40, 30, 20, 10
- Average splits: 35, 25, 15, 10, 8, 7
Steer Riding
- Limited to sixteen (16) contestants
- Fourteen (14) from final 2009 C.P.R.A. Standings
- Two (2) from a random draw of remaining contestants
- Contestants will compete on one (1) head
