GROUND RULES:
1. No riders or running of stock in the arena a maximum of one and a half (1 ½) hours prior to performance or slack start time.
CONTESTANT INFO:
- Tough Enough to Wear Pink - Sat., March 20
1. C.R.E. Arena Hours: Thursday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for contestants, with the stock contractor receiving priority. Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for pre-slack warm up and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for pre-performance warm up. Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for pre-performance warm up. Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 12:30:p.m. for pre-performance warm up. Other than the times listed, the building will be locked and off limits to contestants.
2. If possible, contestants are requested to participate in the Grand Entry.
3. Order of events will be: Grand Entry/Opening, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc, Tie-down Roping, Steer Riding, Intermission, Ladies Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Bull Riding.
4. Following each event, the day’s leader will make a victory lap around the arena. If the contestant does not have a horse, the committee will supply one.
5. No stalling available. If stalling is required, contact the C.R.E. office and they will aid in finding off site stalling.
6. No dogs are allowed in the arena at any time or running loose on the C.R.E. grounds.
7. Telephone to the rodeo is (780) 672-3640 and calls will be transferred to the rodeo office on site.
8. The Camrose Spring Classis Rodeo has designated Saturday, March 20th as Tough Enough to Wear Pink.
9. Contestant gates are located through the east gate off Exhibition Drive, allowing contestants access behind the arena.
10. Contestant entry door is located at the West end of the building (small overhead door). There are no south side entry/exit doors. No entry will be allowed through other doors. This is for all performances, including slack.
11.2010 C.P.R.A. membership cards must be shown to security at the contestant doors. If cards are not available, contestants must show picture ID to gain access. There will be no exceptions.
12. As per the C.P.R.A. rulebook, only one (1) companion is allowed with contestant at the contestant door (or main door) and a companion card must be shown to security.
13. All companions will be issued a seat ticket to Section H only. There will be no exceptions to this rule. The only alternative will be to purchase a full price ticket at the main door. Security will be checking tickets in order to comply with this rule.
14. Concessions are available and will be open Friday morning if slack is required.
15. Dance Saturday evening at 9:30 p.m. – No minors.
16. No smoking anywhere in the C.R.E. facility.
17. C.R.E. compound, shop, U.F.A. Pavilion and Barn A are off limits to contestants.
