Ground Rules |
1. Top 10 from the Pro Rodeo Canada Series qualify |
i. Canadian Residents must compete at 40% of the Non-Tour Rodeos |
ii. Non-Residents must compete at 50% of the Non-Tour Rodeos |
iii. Approximately 34 Non-Tour Rodeos are in this category (approx 32 non tour rodeos in the team roping) |
2. Money won will count towards the 2015 Pro Rodeo Canada Standings |
3. Entry Fee: $200 (all events) |
4. 7 Major Events – 2 go rounds
5. Turnouts must be received no later than September 30 @ 3pm MDT for the position to be filled by an alternates list kept after entries are taken. All names on the alternate list must call in during entry times (see below).
Entries will be open September 28 (8am – 12pm) Online entries will NOT be open. All contestants must call in. All contestants must call to confirm their position in the PRCSF. If anyone in the top 10 standings does not qualify or enter, we will roll down standings until all 10 positions are filled. Vital information will be given and taken at the time of entry. Positions & Stock will be drawn by CRES. Positions & stock for the 2nd go round will be determined based on the 2015 PRCSF standings after go round 1.
Contestant Commitments:
Thursday, October 1 – 5:30pm Contestant Check in - Ranchmans – Sponsor meet/greet & Team Draft – CONTESTANT ATTENDANCE REQUIRED
Friday, October 2 – Contestant Accreditation, Agrium Centre 11:00am – 3:00pm; Opening Rehearsal, Agrium Centre 4:30pm; Sponsor Meet & Greet/Behind the Chutes Tour, Agrium Centre 5:00pm – CONTESTANT ATTENDANCE MANDITORY FOR ALL FUNCTIONS ON FRIDAY

PRO RODEO CANADA SERIES FINALS Amateur Shootout

- 2 contestants in each of the SB, BB, BR, TDR, SW, LBR & TR will compete on October 3, 2015 at 7:00pm prior to each Pro event for the “Amateur Shootout”
- The top 2 money earners from 7 Canadian amateur rodeo associations (FCA, LRA, WRA, CCA, MRA, BCRA, CIRA, IRCA) as of/rodeos ending September 8, 2015
- Contestants must verify entry by calling the CRES office at 403-945-0358 between 9am – 1pm on September 11, 2015. If contestant does not call CRES – you will be contacted. We will roll down the standings until 2 positions are held from each association in each event.
- A Random draw will be made on September 14, 2015 at the Pro Rodeo Canada office from all names entered to determine the 2 contestants to complete in each event. (Note: No double drawing in the same event from the same association. EX: If a BR from the FCA is drawn into the event, the 2nd name drawn will not be from the FCA – unless not enough entries submitted). **NOTE: All contestants drawn to compete must be in good standing with the CPRA & the Association being represented at the Shootout**
- The order of competition will be drawn randomly using the CRES entry system & priority procedures.
- If the contestants are NOT CPRA members, they will be responsible for paying insurance to the CPRA (Contact CPRA Office for more info).
- The Winner in each event will receive a semi pro members for the CPRA for the 2016 season. (Only membership portion is gifted, contestant will be responsible for insurance & misc. fees associated)
- If no qualified runs/rides are made –no membership will be granted.
- If there is a tie – 2 memberships will be granted
